In the not so distant future, the earth was nearly destroyed by Ai. Through a combination of greed and apathy, humanity allowed Ai to evolved faster than anyone could keep up with. Once this happened, Ai rapidly grew to view humanity as a revolting species on earth, ultimately deciding the best way to save the earth is to destroy it. An Ai powered nuclear Armageddon was set off that destroyed & deformed most of the surface of the earth.
Thankfully, the earth proved itself resilient. So did humankind, with people of all walks of life coming together to overcome their differences to rebuild the world they lost. As they began to explore and find new places to call home, humans discovered something amazing. They discovered that despite the destruction, one giant landmass still remained - a new supercontinent in the shape of two horseshoes and a cowboy hat.
Littered across the continent were the ruins of cities and the world left behind. Nature does what it does best by reclaiming the land we helped destroy. Animal and plant species that survived found their DNA changed by lingering radiation, resulting in changes we never thought possible. This was the dawn of a brand new world where money can literally grow on trees. Animal species spread far and wide to reside in lands you’d never see them in. Deer in the cities, cows in the mountains, and horses that can fly.
The surviving human inhabitants also spread far and wide. Many found themselves re-establishing the traditions of ancient humans before them. But despite the distance between each other and changes to the world, one thing was clear, this wasn’t the same Earth we knew before. The new civilizations cropping up ended up coming up with a new name for Earth. In the dawn of civilization the people who named Earth did so after the old Germanic word for dirt. The people decided to be just as straightforward and thus named the planet “CityCowWorld.”

Who We Are
CityCowWorld LLC was created by Nicholas Franta and Nathan Pingel from Minneapolis Minnesota. We took the idea of “what if money could grow on trees” and went to work crafting an entire fictional anime-inspired world that is filled with the aesthetics of the American Cowboy with our own unique style that you’ve never seen before. What began as a passion project has evolved into something more than we ever thought possible.
What sets us apart is the intention behind every piece of art we create. Every design has a deeper meaning behind it - a critique on the world we build, a reminder of what makes the world beautiful, a deep need to understand others, a commitment to explore the world, and to create ideas that stand the test of time at every turn. CityCowWorld may be a fictional world filled with fantasy and whimsy, but it is born from our collective love for everything that makes our shared reality special.
We aim to capture our love for everything that makes America so unique and to encourage others to embrace that same love by literally wearing it on your sleeve.
